Freaky Rose

I’ve just noticed this Rose in my garden and have no idea why it would have formed like this. Any ideas about what’s happening?

I’m a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. I prefer to be outside and am interested in photography, nature and different cultures. I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”

  1. i did a search and its called, I think, proliferation. just happens with some roses. probably genetic. usually not a problem. i remember seeing it now and then on my roses.usually floribundas.

  2. Well, I should have known you’d find the answer. 🙂 I’m going to watch it to see what happens, I expect the buds in the centre will just dry up and drop off but it’s nicer imagining them all gradually opening.

Does this ring any bells with you?
