A Masterpiece Starts With a Single Stroke

A Masterpiece in the making.

What advice would I give to my teenage self?

Don’t be over-awed by the thought of what lies ahead just take the first step

The natural environment will recharge you so do what you can to look after it.

Relax, no one is perfect.

This is a revised post because I’ve actually been musing over the concept for a day.

What I think I’d like to tell my teenage self is that:

People who make you feel not clever enough, not attractive enough, not wealthy enough or not refined enough are not worth your time so leave them behind. You will find people in many different parts of the world who will take you as they find you and appreciate you for the person you really are.

Throughout your life you’ll get great pleasure from helping others, helping people who appear less fortunate, animals that need some help and environments that have been battered. You will get immense satisfaction from simple crafting and realise everything doesn’t have to be a masterpiece. You will share your life with people you love and who love you.

Relax, enjoy the moment and let the future unfold.

I’m a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. I prefer to be outside and am interested in photography, nature and different cultures. I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”
