I wasn’t going to respond to this prompt because I had no idea what I’d read next until I finished reading, “The Happiest Refugee” but now I’ve decided I’m going back to the beginning and I’m going to read it again! I’ve never done that with a book before so why do it now?
This book could be a story of great deprivation and sadness but despite the dire circumstances it’s a story brimming with hope and happiness. The joy of living bubbles from every page. Anh has relished his experiences and been able to turn around even the most negative encounters.
I know I’m going to enjoy reading it again.
