Feeling Strong

What does “being strong” mean?

Does it mean being able to lift heavy objects, separate resistant forces or ignore pain?

Does it mean denying yourself something you really like?

Does it mean bouncing back again and again from negative experiences?

Does it mean not being afraid to make decisions when the consequences are uncertain?

Does it mean sticking to your opinion when others try to change it?

Does it mean someone else is “weaker” in comparison to you?

If someone is always able to convince another person to do something for them whether it’s physical or mental who is actually the stronger one?

I don’t feel strong but I’ve been told I am, maybe that’s all you need.

I’m a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. I prefer to be outside and am interested in photography, nature and different cultures. I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”
